I am a fellow of the Dutch Institute for Emergent Phenomena, an interdisciplinary research centre across the Netherlands and beyond. My research focuses on studying biochemical processes in living cells by applying stochastic theory, numerical methods, nonequilibrium physics and data-driven methods. More specifically, I develop multiscale theory and simulations of open biochemical reaction-diffusion processes, ranging from molecular to macroscopic scales.
